The DeepSpeed powertrain uses automotive-derived lithium batteries, suitably modified, and certified for use in the marine environment. It is possible to install different types of batteries, depending on whether you prefer long distances rather than high speeds.
Their duration depends on a series of factors such as the number of battery packs installed, the desired cruising speed, the type of jet installed, the presence of a range extender, and above all the resistance to motion generated by the hull (drag) at various speeds. So, it is not possible to “generalize” the concept of battery life.
All data will still be provided by the shipyard in combination with the hull on which DeepSpeed technology is installed.
